RC Fan Safety Net Cover product information — nameplate size check, arm fit, both-sides protection, finger-safe mesh, PVC border, and wide Velcro

Confirm sweep from the nameplate

Check the manufacturer plate on the motor (e.g. Almonard, Havells, CG). Match the printed sweep size — 16″, 18″, 20″, 24″, 30″ or 36″ — before ordering.

Perfect cut match at arm position

Each cover is cut to clear the fan support arm so the mesh sits flush without bunching or gaps around the yoke.

100% safe from both sides

Precise finishing protects fingers from the front and rear of the grille — built for high-speed industrial pedestal and wall fans.

Mesh that blocks finger access

12 mm hexagonal virgin HDPE mesh is sized so fingertips cannot pass through, while airflow stays unobstructed.

Strong PVC border + double stitching

Reinforced edge binding keeps the cover shape stable through daily factory use, cleaning, and re-fits.

Wide Velcro closure

Industrial-width Velcro locks the cover in place — tool-free install and quick removal for maintenance windows.

Fit RC Fan Safety Net Cover in six steps

No tools required — wide Velcro, arm-matched cut, and a final finger-safety check before you restart the fan.

  1. Step 1 / 6

Power off & isolate the fan

Switch the fan off at the isolator or plug. Never fit or adjust a cover on a running fan.

  2. Step 2 / 6

Match cover size to the nameplate

Confirm the ordered RC Fan Safety Net Cover sweep matches the size printed on the fan nameplate. Wrong size = poor fit and weaker protection.

  3. Step 3 / 6

    Align arm cutouts first

Place the cover so the arm / yoke cut matches the metal support arm. This keeps the mesh centred on the grille.

  4. Step 4 / 6

    Stretch mesh over the grille

Pull the cover evenly over the guard ring. Check that the PVC border sits flat around the rim with no loose folds.

  5. Step 5 / 6

    Secure the wide Velcro

Close the Velcro firmly so the cover cannot slip during vibration. Re-check both sides if you are fitting front and rear protection.

  6. Step 6 / 6

    Final safety check & restart

Confirm fingers cannot reach the blades through the mesh, edges are tight, then restore power and verify normal airflow.

Tip: For maintenance, open the Velcro, remove the cover, service the fan, then refit the same way. Keep one spare cover size per common sweep in your stores.
